Blogging feels so overwhelming for me. Yet when I do it, it is soo fulfilling. Here are the little happenings in my world. I have switched things around on the sight so the earlier Blog entries are still under construction. More to come.....

We just love Christmas time at our house. We had two trees this year which was sooo much fun. The kids helped decorate and we talked about our favorite Christmas memories.

I can’t believe he is 8. I think I turned my head for a moment when he was a baby and then BOOM he was getting baptized. I don’t dare blink because then he will be leaving on his mission. Mason is such a sweetheart. He is probably my most loving child. He is always watching out for his brother and sisters, and he is very protective of them. This year he really wanted an ipod touch for his b-day, and with Matt as his dad. I don’t think there was a chance he wasn’t going to get it. Matt loves nothing more than spoiling his kids rotten. I pray they don’t go rotten, but figure out somewhere along the way that they are the best things that have ever happened to us, and that we love them no matter what.

Here a few of the things I said I was thankful for:

My great health
Jillian Michaels 30 day shred
Lose it on the iPhone
Recipe night in my ward
Keegan not needing stitches and still having his teeth in place
My Young Women (they are the best)
Two beautiful sisters who I desperately need to go on another
cruise with. I love you guys!

My beautiful children. Karlee(9) for being such a great helper, Mason(almost 8) for being such a stud with a HUGE heart, Brynlee(6) for being my little ninja, Keegan(3) for being a busy little boy, and my sweet little Adalee(9 mths) for being my baby baby forever, she could not be any sweeter. I feel so lucky to have such great kids in my life. I love them more than anything. I am truly thankful.

My husband for being such a nerd! He works so hard. (Most of you probably think that’s not true HA!) when he’s not working he’s still working hard at home. I love my MAN!

Such awesome mom/sis-in-laws! We spent all weekend at Time Out For Women! It was soo much fun although we didn't get to play nearly hard enough! Guess we need to plan another getaway...This time with Mandy too. I missed you Mandy! Thanks girls for such a fun time :P

and last but definitely not least.......

Family..... My mom for the woman she is, and the woman I am because of her. My dad for his never ending knowledge he is better than google. Any question I ask him he always has the best advice for me. I feel soo lucky for the awesome peeps in my life. I love them alll!

Now on to Thanksgiving Day
We spent it at my Grandma Nichols house. I feel so lucky to have her in my life, and to have her in my kids life. They are so lucky to get to know her. She really is the best. I have learned so much from her. I love her sooo much! We had some awesome grub! My cousin Tifni and her two boys Tyler and Johnny were there. It was soo fun to see them and catch up on life. It was such a fun day! And alot of sleepers.
This year was no different. Our costumes got a lot of use this year. I think we got dressed up 6 different times. Yeah I think we might have overdone it a little! I was a little burnt out by the time the real day got here, but we had FUN none the less. We started things off with a Birthday Bash for my Dad, Costumes and all. We had a blast! My grandma and grandpa Ellis judged the costumes for us. It was so much fun showing up at there house to scare them! HAAA HAAA HAAAA! They loved having us there. We will have to do it again next year. Maybe we could get them to dress up too. :) John got 1st place, Addi got 2nd, and Maddix got 3rd. Of course my grandma asked the kids to help judge. The rest of us got anywhere from HOTTEST to SCARRIEST! It was soo much fun!

She celebrates it for the the whole month of August. (Maybe even longer.) Last year we were on a Disney Cruise for her Birthday. This year wasn’t quite as exciting, but it was definitely as good because we were with our family. We went to Bear Lake which might just become a tradition. The water is soo beautiful there. It’s as close to the Caribbean that you can get as far as beauty. We had so much fun boating, jet skiing and just relaxing.

Wow, where do I begin? I am just soo excited Addi made it here safely. Our journey began on Sunday February 8th, 2009. On Friday the 6th, I had a Dr.’s appointment and discussed just how ready I was to have my baby. He had planned on inducing me on Wed. the 11th. But, with a very impatient hubby we decided to see if he would move it up. He did, YEAH! He wanted us to go in at 4 p.m., but after I told him my labors average about 10 hrs, he decided to move it up to noon. Then at 9:00 Sunday morning the hospital called and said come in as soon as you can. I was grateful that sleeping doesn’t come easy for me, because I was up at 6:00 am getting ready for the day. So, all we needed to do was wait for Matt’s awesome parents to come watch the kids and get our last minute stuff together. We got the kids excited thinking that for sure Adalee would be born in time for them to come and see her. We started the Pitocin at 10:45 am. Then a whoppin’ 11 hours later at 9:46 pm, I finally delivered her. So, sadly the kids had to wait until the morning.
Adalee weighed in at 8 lbs. 4 oz. and 21 inches. She was my second biggest baby (Keegan being the biggest at 9 lbs. 10 oz.) and she was my longest baby. I tell you what the girl has a big set of lungs on her. She cried almost the entire time she was with me, until they took her to get her cleaned up and then I am sure she cried some more. When she first came out we all thought that she looked like Keegan. But, after they cleaned her up and brought her to me, I kind of thought she just looks like Adalee. Now I have days where she looks like Karlee, or even Mason. It will be interesting to see in the months to come who she will look like. I’ll tell you one thing, she is definitely a Johnson. I was hoping to have one baby look like me, but it looks like that’s not going to happen. My dad said she looks a little bit like me when I was a baby. I guess we’ll see what she ends up looking like. :)

It’s February so that means in my book I could have Adalee any day. It doesn’t help that every two seconds Matt is asking if I am in labor yet. It is hard not to be ansie with less than two weeks left considering I went 2 weeks early with Mase and 3 weeks early with Bryn. I have learned my lesson though. I thought for sure Keegan would be a couple weeks early and he went all the way to his due date. Weighing in at a whoppin’ 9 lbs. 10 oz. URGGGHHH! So, far it looks like my Dr.’s will induce me on Feb. 11th, which is 8 days away. I am anxiously awaiting that day. We have her room done. The pack-n-go bed/bassinet set up in my bedroom, hospital bags packed. I am just waiting to spring a leak or go into real labor. Last week I had contractions for about 6 hours, but of course they never fell into a pattern, and just left me with a really tired and sore uterus. But, after a bath and a Tylenol PM I was feeling much better. Two weeks ago I was dilated to a 1 and 70% effaced. This last Friday I was a 1 1/2 and still 70% effaced, but the Dr. said that baby has dropped which I guess is good. Except for the shots of pain running down the front of my legs from a pinched nerve, and constantly feeling like I need to PEE even though much doesn’t come out.

I guess the reason I am documenting this is because I want to remind myself that we are really done having babies. The last couple months are always hard for me, so I figured while I am in them I should remind myself that this really is it.

I just want my little Adalee here. Every time I wake up in the middle of the night and see her bed next to mine I get way to excited and can’t go back to sleep. I am ready for my little Angel.

We had a ton of fun. But, what was supposed to be Christmas in Utah for the first time since Matt and I have been married (10 years), turned out once again to be Christmas in Idaho. We woke up Christmas Eve Day and heard there was supposed to be a big snow storm on Christmas (which we planned on opening presents Christmas morning then driving to Idaho for Christmas dinner). We then began contemplating if it we would rather miss our first Christmas in Utah, or miss going to Idaho. Of course we would miss not being in Idaho. So, that began a quick push at getting most of the presents open at home, everything packed, and on our way by noon Christmas Eve.
We were completely snowed in on Christmas Day and had an awesome time. Christmas Eve still carried it’s regular traditions of Finger Steaks, and Shrimp for dinner, and opening brother and sister presents. We had a ton of fun. I guess we will see what happens next year....
